We enjoy architecture, and we enjoy the process of working with our clients towards a common goal. The name hecticrAt itself is an anagram of the word Architect. He regularly takes part in international architectural competitions, with his entry for the "Kenilworth Designer Dunny" being one of 12 designs shortlisted by the Sunshine Coast Council in 2016 from an international field of 174.

Services
On finalisation of the design concept, preparation of submission drawings and accompanying documentation, either for Development or Section 96 Applications to Council or Complying Development Applications to a private certifier. Including discussions with Council Planners, responding to neighbour's objections (if any) and amending design if required.

Demis is an absolute pleasure to work with. Demis is helping us draw up our dream home, by way of an extension to our existing house and has been incredibly patient, diligent, responsive, organised, proactive and helpful. In fact, without Demis' attention at the correct time, I doubt very much whether I would have persevered through the process to get our DA. We are very glad we obtained the services of Hecticrat for architectural design and DA approval for our dream home.
Demis is an excellent architect and very knowledgeable in town planning matters.
Ours is a very difficult block of land 47 M deep with app. 15 M rise from front to back located in a council considered very difficult for getting approvals for new dwellings.
We had gone with a building designer earlier and completed two Pre DA meetings with council and found that we had more issues to deal with as the process evolved. Changes to council staff during the period did not help the process
