Having worked with Alex and his team at a project in Woollahra, I found that he had fantastic ideas and real passion for design -and a wealth of understanding on the building process.
He also also had a network of suppliers that could help achieve the very bespoke results being sought.

Alex Roth can not get over his ego. He does not complete contracted works. He does not answer his phone or respond to emails, messages or calls. He thinks his time is more important than anyone else's. He charges thousands of dollars for tasks that took us only 30 mins to complete, and we were able to complete it and are not even trained architects!

Alex Roth transformed our dark Victorian rabbit warren of a house into a light filled delightful home. He has given us beautiful usable spaces, without sacrificing form for function. He is also a genius when it comes to bringing in the light. I cannot imagine ever arriving at this successful outcome without the expertise and personality of Alex Roth.

We have engaged Alex Roth twice now to transform our tiny 1950's bungalow into our beautiful home. We have a complicated site. It is on a steep slope, backs onto bushland (BAL-FZ) and our budget is fixed. We had previously tried with other architects to build out into the canopy but were unsuccessful. Through considered and strategic engagement with the council Alex has secured our DA and we are about to commence building.

Following the unsuccessful engagement of another architect we pitched our project to three architectural practices. Alex Roth was the standout - he could immediately see the potential of our home in terms of the overall layout and we knew the design process would be very much a collaboration between architect and client.
