Disappointed with the outcome of my order!
I recently placed an order with Hallam Homes for a large set of chest of draws. I was told that someone would need to be available to help with the delivery as the box was too large for the delivery driver - 1 person.
Unfortunately, my wife is pregnant an unable to assist with the heavy lifting.
My order was cancelled and a refund received.
I'm disappointed that arrangements couldn't be made for delivery with a more suitable carrier. It's unreasonable to expect, elderly and pregnant woman to assist in the delivery after a reasonable delivery fee of

What can I say , I ordered 3 large items and ordered 1 week before Xmas and they arrived on the 24th of December all in excellent condition. The quality is unbelievable 100% hamptons looking and of heavy great looking items.
The service I received was excellent . I would recommend all buyers to biy from this company.
I'm already planning more orders for my next unit.
The delivery driver even brought all the items up the lift and into unit was friendly and caring with the fragile boxes. The items do need putting together as they are flat packed so you need to be handy .

I have purchased both the hamptons buffet and tv unit, no complaints about the buffet.
Whilst the tv unit is gorgeous i received the product with missing parts. So I have been in contact with customer service via email and have been told for the last 4 weeks that they would be sending this out to me. Excuses range from warehouse incorrect packing, waiting for shipping of product to warehouse and was then told they would remove the items from a product in stock. Still havent received anything and customer service really isnt helping, its such a shame because there were so many things I wanted to

Purchased a TV unit and the rails of the drawers were off leaving the drawer stuck and closing on an angle.
Made a complaint to Hallams Homes only to get a response of some YouTube links stating it's easy to fix here's how to do it.
Considering I've paid for a new product, I shouldn't have to unscrew the rails and measure to realign and screw them in again.
Customer service was terrible- the emails I received stated they quality check their products and MOST are ok- I should just be able to move it a few mm and it shouldn't be a big deal. Disgusting customer service.

Furniture came damaged, illegible instructions, was impossible to put together correctly, some pieces were broken and the delivery driver didn't abide by any of the COVID rules and my fiance had to help.
I had to follow them up 4 times as there website said it was in stock but our order said it was awaiting stock,
I would have paid extra for better delivery, I would have paid 30% more if it came assembled.
I understand it is difficult times and running small businesses aren't easy with all the competition, but providing a reasonable experience for your consumers goes a long way.
