Founded in 1975, Archer Locksmiths has been providing locksmithing services on the North Shore for over 40 years and is one of Chatswood's long standing businesses. Having initially been located on 76 Archer Street, Archer Locksmiths moved to the current location in 1985. In 1988 Ross Perkins became the owner of the business, having completed his training and apprenticeship in nearby Lane Cove.
Archer Locksmiths provides a complete range of locksmithing services, from cutting keys to repairing locks to installing a safe to creating master key systems. Whether you need work completed at your home or office, or want to bring something into our shop, we can help you. Our trained locksmiths will always provide you with quality service and advice.
Our showroom contains a comprehensive range of safes for both residential and commercial requirements. Whether large or small, we are sure to have something suitable for your needs. If you require something specific, our manufacturers can build a custom-made safe for you. Contact us with your requirements.
We supply and code a large range of remote controls for cars, garage doors and other uses. Bring in your existing remote (working or not) and we may be able programme a replacement for you or provide instructions for you to programme it yourself. If you don't have any remotes, provide a photo of the control unit and we will research it for you.
Archer Locksmiths provides security and locksmithing services to many strata management companies and strata plan owners. Our goal is to ensure the maintenance of security for your strata property. We promptly respond to work order and quote requests, keeping you informed of the progress of your request.

After the unpleasant, inconvenient and sad experience of having had my house and car keys 'removed' I was anxious to get the locks changed as quickly as possible for security and peace of mind.
I contacted Mark after a referral from a friend. Within the space of an hour, I had Isaac call me from the Chatswood branch and Grant arrived to change the locks.

They had thier tradesman knock lightly on my door once. Did not hit my door bell or try to call me then have called me up insisting I pay for the call out. My arlo camera recorded the audio of the single quite door knock and my call log has no missed calls yet they claim the tradesman knocked multiple times on the door and windows and tried to call multiple times.
I then am asked to pay for the call out and refuse on the grounds they did not make me aware they were at my property properly.
They then call back asking for the camera footage which I could not access while on the call as arlo cloud
