Spannenberg and Son is YOUR home extension and building specialist servicing the Northern Beaches and South-West Sydney. Established by Hans Spannenberg in 1971, all three of Hans' sons have worked in the business from a very young age (you could do that in those days!). Though retired and into his 70's, Hans still likes to have input into the business and remain part of the team.

New room upstairs and a complete redesign of downstairs including kitchen laundry and WIP.Nothing was ever too hard for the guys, any little issues we had were promptly rectified. The best way to give your house extra living space like bedrooms, a living room and bathroom, without using up yard space is to add a first-floor addition. First floor additions are quicker to build as we don't have the time-consuming process of foundation work and you can generally live in the house while construction is underway.
We can make your house look brand new by replacing your windows, cladding, roof, fascias and gutters. We can open up your living areas by removing walls, renovating kitchens and bathrooms. How about opening the back of your house onto the back yard with a large stacking sliding door a deck and awning.

Ben, Dave & the team worked worked with us to renovate our home in 2021. They added a first floor addition, gutted & re-did the existing bathroom and laundry downstairs, added a new outdoor entertaining deck & improved the whole facade of our home. The work was completed on budget, as quoted and in just 8 months.
Dave, was an excellent project manager; easy to work with, answered all our questions, kept us in the loop the whole way and provided great recommendations. All of the builders and trades were extremely polite and lovely to deal with, in fact our neighbours were also very complimentary

I would not trust or use this company for any renovations considering how they drive on the road with their vehicles. One of their vehicles was travelling over the speed limit in the left lane and then continue to cut in front of another car when merging into the right lane, this was during wet weather conditions. Obviously their employees are not very smart considering their driving a vehicle with branding which makes them easily identifiable

Absolutely outstanding builders. On time, quality work, even came in under budget. We got a second floor added to the house. The builders were courteous, professional, and did an excellent job. The extension was built and completely enclosed in the first 3 weeks, while we still lived inside without disruption. The rest of the fit out was completed over the following 8 weeks. Less than 3 months all up from start to end. They never missed a deadline, always arrived when they said they would, and never made a mess. Perhaps most amazingly, they came in UNDER budget. Honestly, I didn't know builders
