With humble beginnings in a small factory in Kensington, Design Inferno Glass has swiftly reached greater heights over a period of 15years and now renowned as a leader in design & colour of quality glass products. Design Inferno Glass was initiated with the feel and understanding of a creative need for original designs and custom made glass products in diverse areas.
Toughening is the process of turning annealed (regular) glass into safety glass. The glass is superheated, then rapidly cooled, changing the structure of the glass. Toughened glass is extremely strong in comparison to annealed (regular) glass (around 4 - 5 times stronger), and if it does break, it shatters into small pieces that rather than sharp shards as is the case with annealed glass.

A very disappointing and frustrating experience. Promised a lot and failed to meet expectations. Workmanship poor, cut corners and took two months and numerous phone calls before they finally got it right. Wanted to be paid in full before the work was complete. Poor customer service and was never updated with progress of work. No recommendation for this mob.

I needed to replace a broken splashback behind my sink. I rang a few different places, one of which was not taking on any new customers and recommended Design Inferno. They were the best priced by far, communications were excellent, they arrived when they said they would to install it, and the new one looks better than the original.
