Founded in 1990 by Peter Barnes on the Mornington Peninsula. Peter stated the company after working along side his brother Chris (also a plumber) in Red Hill. Peter started off plumbing new homes and completing plumbing maintenance throughout the Mornington Peninsula. In 2007 Peters son Nick started his plumbing apprenticeship and not long after the two went into partnership.

Barnes plumbing stood out by miles from these other companies, the tradies where informative and professional, any questions I had where promptly followed up by the admin team, they accommodated the requests we had based on the poor drainage of our lot and offered really good suggestions to combat the issue and when we where able to get them out to do the job they finished it in a day. We had a burst pipe under the house. I rang at around 5pm on a Friday afternoon and spoke to Nick. He was around within 20 mins. The job was completed by 6pm. Fantastic service. Thanks very much Nick. Greatly appreciated. Highly recommend Nick.

Called Nick re a blocked drain. Nick said he would call back re when he could do the job. Called back shortly after, confirming one of his people would be around within 2 hours. Plumber arrived on time and quickly cleared the blocked sewer. Fantastic service from your excellent staff Nick.
