The registered builder, Guy Pilcher has a wealth of experience in the industry prior to starting Major Residential as a Building Supervisor and is also the owner of a long established property development company.

A common question with regard to property is: what is strata and can I strata my block? Strata title is actually an Australian innovation in property law that has been copied around the world. Presented with a 1950's house on a 728m2 block - Zoned R40. Major Residential arranged the concept, design and planning approval for the Owner, navigating the complex building/design codes and planning process.
The R-Code is the starting point of any development because it gives you your basic building parameters, including a minimum site area per houes that will determine how many houses you can fit on your block once it's subdivided. R-Codes also tell you the new titles' minimum frontage, setbacks and rear lot sizes, plus any other mandatories such as requirements for open space, communal areas and outdoor living.

We contracted Major Residential Construction & Development in 2014, to build 3 units (3x2x2) in Balga. We were extremely happy with the service Guy and Lesley provided to us. They were very professional and easy to deal with during the construction and post construction. Any issues that we had during the construction and post construction were resolved in a timely manner and always followed up with an email to ensure we were happy and issue resolved.
I highly recommend Guy and Lesley and would not hesitate to use them again. Their construction process is easy and clear, they don't complicate things

We have been Property Developers since 1987 and have dealt with many builders. Our experience with Guy & Lesley has always been a highly professional association since 2007.During that time we averaged around 3 homes per Year. The build is of high quality and the after completion follow up is first class.They honour their contracts which they complete on time.
We have had both Cost plus and fixed price contacts and both have worked.
It is our intention to continue our association and grow with them in the coming years! Keep up the good work you guys!
