Making the transition from Interior Design on the Gold Coast back in the late 80's to work with my true passion in life as a Landscape Designer and Horticulturist was an easy one. Having the opportunity to work alongside our clients and help them develop their vision for the outdoor lifestyle and gardens they want to create and enjoy, is a really special experience for me.
Our team of landscape architects, designers & horticulturists have been working alongside many of S.E.Qld's highly regarded town planners, architects, builders and developers since 1995. Since the beginning, our team of Landscape Architects and Designers have been committed to providing innovative and sustainable landscape design solutions for our clients.

I've loved working with Sue on my new home landscaping plans! Being the first time I've ever built, I started from a point of really not knowing anything about what I wanted - at all! Sue has been very patient, knowledgeable, and happy to work through ideas that suit my personality with low maintenance options, while not compromising on quality. I'm so excited to now be near the end of home construction, and am very much looking forward to seeing Sue's plans come to life.

I could not recommend Grotec strongly enough. Finding quality people to work with you and deliver what they say when they promise is a very hard thing to find in our world today. Sue and her team are very professional. They listen to your ideas and offer extremely wise input to turn your dreams into reality. No problem is too large for them to solve and they are super responsive and always available when you call. I would not look anywhere else!

Sue was very professional and a genuine and lovely person to deal with. Initially we were uncertain of what type of garden or plantings we wanted. Sue identified the type of plants and colours we liked and presented us with a fabulous design which met all our needs. The plans included details of the number and type of plants required and with recommendations of suppliers from Sue we sourced the plants ourselves and were able to successfully follow the planting plans. Sue was very responsive to our numerous emails and phone calls requesting planting advice, fertiliser, soil and mulching requirements

Thank you to the team at Grotec for their assistance all the way through our landscaping project. It has been an amazing journey. The design and execution were varied and complex from the water’s edge with rendered large retainer walls, boat area, self-watering pots on the patio and by the pool, outdoor shower, a front garden with a new drive for our motor home.

Key to the success of our amazing courtyard transformation was the initial design stage, carried out with Sue and Jarred from Grotec Landscape Solutions. An important strategy within this design process was being referred to Anthony (Apunga Landscapes) and to Charlie (MyRenovator). They provided additional, helpful insights to the design, including hardscaping (retaining walls, garden soil, grass, pebbles, mulch, tiled paths, and garden lighting) and building (pergola, screen, and entry) construction ideas. Having a blank canvas to work with sounds exciting, but for me, it was also overwhelming, until I met Sue & the team at Grotec. From the moment she sat with us to discuss our lifestyle, time & what overall look we wanted to see to compliment our new home Sue’s knowledge & passion clearly showed. A few weeks of “controlled mess” was certainly well… worth the end result. The plants that have been chosen are just perfect! The compliments we get are endless. I am a member of the Peninsula Body Corporate in Monterey Keys. Before contacting Sue we had a number of quotes to fix our dying garden beds that were all well beyond our budget. Sue took a common sense approach to our problem and after doing a soil test was able to come up with a landscape design that was effective, attractive and much cheaper than any of the other quotes we received.
