CARBOLITE was formed in 1991 to cater for the growing need for translucent awnings. The product needed for this awning had to follow certain criteria. It had to be strong to withstand the elements of "mother nature", it had to be flexible for attractive design and it had to be practical for it to be considered as an awning alternative.
Window awnings are the perfect attachment for covering windows, doors to prevent weather penetration. Most of our window awnings comply with BASIX (please note clear, bronze sheet polycarbonate awnings DO NOT). With a wide array of shapes to choose from, we cover different styles using our unique hinge beam weather bar systems.
Bull Nosed Awnings are perfect for areas where head height areas are limited as they can be placed on smaller falls. The awnings come in a variety of colour choices where you can mix and match. There are five (5) sheet choices of 8mm twin walled polycarbonate and four (4) aluminium joining bar colours.
The Gable Window Awnings are a simple way of adding lines to your door and window entries. The system revolves around simple brackets bolted to the wall with the polycarbonate sheets attached on top. This system allows the installer to set any angle they choose by adjusting the brackets. The awnings come in a variety of colour choices allowing you to mix and match.
Clearlite Awnings are different to the CARBOLITE awnings since we use a 3.0mm solid polycarbonate sheet UV both sides. This type of sheet is often used in applications where high impact may occur (bank screens etc.). The awning system is the same for our CARBOLITE awnings systems that use our extruded aluminium joining bars with a unique hinge beam/weather bar attachment system.

Sailesh Patel supplied 2 Carbolite Clearlite awnings for our Owner's Corporation at 209 Dandenong Road Windsor to install over the 2 entranceways there. The quality of the Clearlite units is superb, and they are the "Rolls Royce" level of awnings after looking at a lot on the internet. The Carbolite awnings add elegance and value to the property.

I am extremely pleased with the awning, after years of problems with rain and sun affecting two adjacent doorways. The assistance with design, the range of colours, information on light and heat transmission, packaging, prompt delivery were all exemplary. The end result is an awning that looks like it was part of the original house design.

Carbolite provided an excellent start to finish service. They were able to design, fabricate, package and freight a customised self-supported awning unit which I was able to install with instructions. Despite some complicated angles the components fitted neatly and the end product looks great. Highly recommended.
