Moved from Lakes Entrance to Melbourne. The 2 guys from Jake loaded themselves and sent me photos when done.
Got to Melbourne in reasonable time given how many road speed restrictions are currently in place.
Their pricing was easily the best and service was excellent. Very friendly and professional guys who took good care of our stuff.
Would highly recommend and will use them again.

We moved our household from East Brighton to Rosebud. James and Matt arrived right on time, carefully and cheerfully packed our possessions, took particular care over anything fragile or valuable, then drove the truck through a torrential rainstorm and took the same care unpacking. 7.5 hours cost around $1300 which I thought was very fair value. I also appreciated that they covered the furniture with blankets for protection. Nice guys.

Why would it take 2 big guys to move 1 single mattress?
Apparently asking the guys if they could move a bit quicker and not take it too easy isn't enough. The correct process is to call Jess the manager to get them to work harder. Obviously it took longer than the expected time (just) and I had to pay the extra 1/2 hour - seems like a kick in the teeth but it is the industry standard I'm told. Please ensure that you are fluent with their terms and conditions before hiring.

Our Removalists (Ming & Jerry - Its been over a week and cant remember their names!) were fabulous, careful but quick, friendly, really hard workers! We were really happy with the service and will be recommending to everyone we know! Well worth the money & a simple process to book, good communication too.

If you consider Jake for a streamline moving experience. Might need to reconsider..
We initially dealt with Jessie, he was friendly and helpful during the time of booking. We wanted to do the right thing and over-quoted our job ensuring the job will finished somewhat pleasantly.
We are seasonal movers however the experience is rather interesting based on the below:
1. Job booked for 1pm, job didn’t commence until 4.45pm, guys were nice but they were exhausted by the time they got to ours after their first job. They shared that the previous job booked for half the size of our apartment but

I would give no stars if it would allow. Do not use Jake Removals if you want to see your stuff again or in one peice. These people are thieves, they STOLE our personal belongings and damaged our brand new fridge. When we told them they never replied. They did not even care enough to give it a second thought which makes us think that is this normal business activity for them. These people should not be trusted with other peoples belongings. Do yourself a favour and book with someone else!

Fast response for online query and friendly, but lack of care. We booked for 11am, they arrived at 2pm. I had one call at 11am telling us 12:30pm arrival, and a message at 12:30pm telling us 2pm arrival. I understand unexpected things happen, but we were VERY unimpressed with LAST MINUTE notification of late arrival, kept us waiting around for 3 hours not knowing when they would actually arrive. Found a lot of scratches and bumps on our furniture after the move from carelessness, banging into walls etc. When we brought up the late arrival, nothing was offered to us at all.
