After many years of working in Shipping Container Logistics and Freight Management, both domestically and internationally from the late 1990's, a friend of the directors approached him about moving interstate.

Services
One of the most common Container Removal Questions that we get asked is "What Size Container do I need"?. Generally we find that our 20ft container is sufficient to hold the contents of a 3 bedroom household. You can also download a shipping container specification sheet here that will give you all the information regarding external and internal dimensions of our containers, including cubic volume on 20ft, 20ft HC, 40ft & 40ft HC containers.
Sometimes its hard to know how much furniture and household items you have to move, especially if you haven't moved for a period of time. So to make it easier we have included a moving calculator here to work out the volume of your furniture, white goods, boxes and general household items. Generally we find that our 20ft container is sufficient to hold the contents of a 3 bedroom household.
We can offer Short Term Container Storage in All States Australia Wide, Please see below where our Serviced Depots are located. At Australian Container Removals, we understand that when moving home and buying, selling or renting properties that sometimes the move in and move out dates don't match up.
At Australian Container Removals we can arrange transporting your own shipping container, both 20ft and 40ft Nation Wide. If you have a 20ft container to transport interstate we can arrange to collect it via Tilt Tray Truck or Side Loading Truck. We then transport it to the nearest rail point where it will travel Interstate.
We deliver an empty shipping container to your address, you pack your own container at your own pace. You unpack the container, at your own pace, we take the empty container away when you are ready. Our friendly staff have many years of experience with Pack Your Own Containers and we are available to offer self packing advice at any time.

From our first quote, Simone was responsive and onto it. Both her and Christine through our whole experience communicated and let us know what was happening every step of the way. We had to cancel all our arrangements due to Qld shutting borders and the girls were amazing and helpful through what was an extremely stressful experience. They provided quotes quickly for other states as we had work waiting for us. Our rail was organised ASAP for our Perth move and they managed to get us on earlier than thought. In addition to being the cheapest quote that I received for our house move across the country, ACR's service was outstanding. From start to finish we received great communication with regards to logistics and delivery/pickup at both ends. The office staff and the drivers were all fantastic and we received courtesy calls the whole time. Highly recommended if you want to make your move as simple as possible!

I cant thank Simone and Troy from ACR enough for their prompt and professional service from the start to the end. Any questions I had were answered and left me in no doubt my container full of personal belongings would arrive safe and undamaged when and where it was supposed to. If I was moving again they would be the only ones I would call after disappointing experiences with other container removal companies from the initial phone calls. Thanks Simone and Troy

Interstate move is a daunting task. However, the way AUCR kept in touch with me on every aspect of the move was outstanding. Throughout the process they have been so thorough and supportive. Would like to say a HUGE thanks to Troy and his team for an amazing experience moving our belongings interstate. Many road blocks along the way, that were unavoidable (bad weather, boarder restrictions) were met with outstanding experience and professionalism. What was quite an anxious period for a mother and a young child to move from East Coast to West, I felt at complete ease when communicating with Troy because of his calm and professional manner. I would recommend this company for all interstate moves and will use them again in the future.
