As a project architect Doug gained valuable experience working across a broad range of project typologies of varying scales including healthcare, institutional, commercial, industrial and residential. After being commissioned for several residential projects in NSW EARTHED architecture was established to continue delivering high quality architecture focused on bespoke residential homes throughout NSW.
We are an ideas based practice who believe architecture is about moments and creating a flow that compliments the human scale. We don't push ideology, specific agenda or a particular aesthetic because our projects are a reflection of their owners, their individual values and desires. We seek simple solutions through rigorous design research and idea development.
We invest ourselves in each project to ensure positive outcomes and demonstrate our ideas through sketch, three dimensional computer generated images and physical models to ensure the design process is transparent and enjoyable for everyone involved.
