BCJ Controls is a Sydney based technology company focussed on helping commercial solar installers connect to the grid. At BCJ Controls we support solar installers by building grid protection units to meet the utility's requirements including solar monitoring, PLC ramping, ethernet, wifi and 3G. Secondary protection is the protection after the solar inverter and before the grid. It is comparable to Primary Protection, which is within the inverter.
The ComAp MainsPro solar protection relay is used for grid-tie applications, and provides anti-islanding protection as required by Distribution Network Service Providers for solar over 30 kW. It can be used with any embedded generator systems such as gen sets, co-generation, or renewable energy sources including photovoltaic plants or wind turbines.
The eGauge Energy Monitor is a flexible, secure, web-based electric energy meter that measures up to 12 circuits on up to 3-phases (120V480V, 5060Hz). You can use the eGauge to measure and record building electrical consumption, solar, wind and other electricity generation, and consumption of individual circuits, such as equipment, pumps, motors, EV charging and heaters.

This company is excellent. We go to them first for Grid Protection Units. They offer great value especially when you add their top notch customer service.
