The Lift & Slide Door System separates the sliding and sealing from the locking actions, allowing the door to virtually hover over the frame. On opening, the unique bogie design lifts the sash off of the frame, the gears engage and the door slides with ease.

We first discovered the quality workmanship of Tiana Joinery in 2003 when our builder chose them to make the window frames and doors for an extension of our 1901 Federation villa. Since then they assisted us with a double glazing project of the extension about 5 years ago. In February 2021 they replaced all the original sash window frames in the "old" part of the house with new double glazed units. This was an extensive exercise with coordination needed between the recommended builder (Built by Ben), glazers (Mount Barker Glass) and lead light maker (The Glass Foundry). The new windows are amazing - almost exact copies of the close to 100 year old ones but without the rot.
Tino and his team were very impressive - on time, worked hard and did an incredible job on the joinery (and accommodating our badly behaved dogs).
