Asked for a digital lock swapped out with a deadbolt/latch I owned. They arrived 30 mins early (good sign?) and then were shockingly rude when I was slow to answer the door.
They did not replace the deadbolt properly such that you could see through the door from the outside. Strangely rude and abrupt the whole time.

When I originally visited the shop in Phillip, they were out of stock of the specific key i needed (roller door). I was told they would soon be restocked and as such proceeded to call and email them for months (calling at least 5 times and emailing several). Months later and i am still without the key i need and without a response.
Deplorable service. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Tony from Canberra Locksmiths arrived with 30 minutes of my call. I am in a wheelchair so I could not get into the garage to flick the circuit breaker. Once he had fixed my lock he also flicked the circuit breaker for me. Tony was prompt, professional, happy and kind. I will definitely recommend them and use them again.

Whilst a fabulous job was done by the friendly, polite locksmith, the assistance given by the after hours call team was despicable. I was locked out of my apartment with nothing - no phone, no wallet - and they would not come out without a credit card guarantee that I obviously could not provide. I was hung up on by the call taker whilst in tears. I'm not sure how someone could be so heartless. My poor neighbours (who had already opened their door to a stranger and handed over a phone!) provided their credit card details as I was too nervous to call any other locksmith than who my landlord had

I rang 3 different Locksmiths, Canberra Locksmiths welcomed my enquiry, were very pleasant, helpful, and willing to assist. Where the others started with very expensive fees to look at the problem, these guys were happy to have a look and then quote. Best bit, successfully opened safe & supplied the needed new key for a fraction of the cost the others quoted just to look.

We couldn't find our car key or spare, so rang these guys up to get keys cut on site.
They were going to arrive within the hour to cut new keys etc. So booked job and said " see you soon!" .
I then received a call from a family member who said
" I'm so sorry, I have your keys "
I promptly rang the locksmith back told them what had happened and cancelled the job.
They were great, no problem at all.
Recommend these guys highly!!
