Services
Allan Spira Architects is an architectural practice with an established reputation in the design and management of residential projects - principally new homes, multiple occupancies, additions, alterations and heritage projects. We have been established since 1986 prior to which Allan spent several years with a number of local Canberra practices.
There are six stages typical to our projects and they are described here. Architects' fees are often charged on a percentage basis, meaning that once the construction cost of the house or extension is established (initially estimated and later adjusted once a contract is formed), a percentage of that sum forms the architect's fee.
Working with Allan and Mariana was a delight. We feel so lucky to have found them. From our first meeting Allan we felt that he had a genuine interest in our family, the way we live and what we wanted to achieve from our extension/renovation. He understood our little ex-govvie, our love of the neighbourhood and our desire to squeeze maximum usage out of our block.
