We now work with new select grade timber jarrah, oak and blackwood to create contempory and modern furniture pieces. Jarrah trees grow on the iron and aluminium rich plains of the south west corner of Western Australia from in ranges east of Perth down to Albany. If is a unique Australian hardwood renowned for its versatility, durability and strength, making it an ideal timber for custom manufactured furniture.

Once again a big Thank you to the staff at Australian design for their help and assistance for the custom built hall/side table , you are always so very helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
The Blackwood timber is a perfect match to our dining table and looks amazing.

Great store with real Australian made furniture. They actually make the furniture for you. I am a joiner by trade and have owned and run my own furniture factories in the past so I do know a bit about furniture. This furniture is the stuff you pass on through generations. It will last. Friendly people too.
