Celebrating over 45 years in construction we have a professional and personal interest in delivering quality buildings, built safely and efficiently.
In 2018 Akura joined forces with Wallandra; a brand synonymous with structural steel and precast panel manufacture, supply and installation. With 40 years' experience in the construction industry operating as Wallandra, the Wallace family made the move to create Akura in 2014 as an off-shoot to Wallandra; done so in order to return to Wallandra's origins as a turnkey design and construct provider.
The cost is dependent on a number of factors including the complexity and size of your project along with Akura's scope of works. Just recently exchanged contracts for our new Company unit at 8 Edward Street. Quick preview this morning and things are looking good despite substantial disruption by rain over past 6-8 weeks. Well done. James Hargreaves was very helpful during the due diligence period and provided good, meaningful information together with answers to our many small queries. We work on sites all over the East Coast of Australia with Akura and have always found them to be honest, fair and deliver quality on time. Beware of this company. Initially they start out good & seem professional. My experience was after I was given a construction price, they dragged things out for months giving me false hope of their intentions before it even got to the actual building stage. They start well in communication, but after sometime fail to take your calls/emails or return them + give false information regarding their intentions surrounding this. Plenty of other builders out there so do yourself a favour & seek them out.
