Services
Northern Beaches Locksmiths first started trading in 1994 as a mobile locksmiths service on the Northern Beaches. The business was founded and to this day operated by Kevin Hardy - proudly a member of the Locksmiths Guild of Australia. In 1998 we incorporated as Northern Beaches Locksmiths Security Pty Limited and continued trading as Northern Beaches Locksmiths which is our main trading name.
We only employ trained and licenced locksmiths. The Security Industry Act of NSW requires that all locksmiths be correctly licenced for the work that they carry out. This licence is your guarantee that your locksmith has been approved by the Security Industry Registry under the auspices of the NSW Police Force.
At Northern Beaches Locksmiths we provide a comprehensive portfolio of services including: replacement locks emergency service, security key systems, masterkeyed systems and restricted key systems. We also provide security door lock repairs and replacement, commercial door bolts, residential door bolts, garage door bolts, garage door locks and Safe opening.

Just read the reviews. Unfortunately i can't comment on his quality of work as i haven't used him.
Not from the lack of trying though, i rang and spoke to a lady who passed on my details. Got a call and he promised to get back to me with in 24 hours. So i patiently waited and as he was local to me did not seek another lock smith. That was until 2 weeks later after i gave up on expecting a call. Yes i waited that long, wasn't urgent and sort of forgot. Got another guy in and getting it sorted. Pity for him though as the job was $3200. Snooze u lose. :-)

Stay away from Kevin Hardy and his company , an absolute scammer!!! He supposed to replaced our locks but instead smash our glass door and refused to pay for it, and just totally run away from it and won't take responsibility of what he did. Purely a low life and just took our money without giving the service that he supposed to do . We are left with a broken window and unsecured place. Please STAY away from this Company if you don't want to be a VICTIM.!!!!! He also charged us for the job after he said he wouldn't!! LOW LIFE SCAMMER!!

Robert REPLACE MY BROKEN GLASS!! That you broke and promised to fix. You have responded to my review but have not fixed the broken glass!! It's so simple to fix. If you would like me to post the text conversation where you promise to fix it then totally backflip on your agreement then I am happy to!! You have had weeks to rectify the issue but my glass is still broken!! You are just a liar and this review is true and correct. I gave you the opportunity at the start to return my money but you chose to keep the payment and not fix what you broke.

Over 15 years of honest, reliable and well priced service. We have used Kevin for many years now in 3 different locations without issue. We have recommended him to friends and relatives and have not heard anything other than glowing reports of his professional, old fashioned, courteous service. He takes the time to explain the best way to get the most out of your locks and keys and which key cutters to avoid etc. It's a shame that the couple who obviously had a bad experience felt it necessary to post twice just to pull him down.
