Peninsula Curtains and Blinds began in 1980 as a small home business founded by Managing Director Vic Bedin. Vic's concept was to bring window furnishing ideas directly into customer's homes using his newly developed mobile showroom. The instant popularity of this concept saw additional staff join the team and a new location.
Our mobile showrooms are not just a sales representative with a few samples, but a Decorator with many years experience and a van fully equipped with over 5000 fabric samples and dozens of working sample units. With eight mobile showrooms and ten Decorators we are able to cover the entire Melbourne metropolitan area and go as far as Phillip Island and cover the entire Peninsula and some of the local towns.
Yes, Our Decorator will leave a written quote for you. We also carry over 3,500 samples and will accurately measure your windows at the same time. Yes we can, we do this all the time. We will also order in all the fabrics that are required and store them in our factory, untill your house is ready to meausure so no dissapointing, out of stock problems.

Lots of problems that went on for months. The departments don’t communicate and customer service doesn’t care. We are left with an outdoor blind that is fitted incorrectly , We have had to get a builder back to refit our curtain. One of our indoor blinds broke in the first week. Dealing with them is so difficult.

UPDATE: you did get the email! When we didn’t hear back we called to discuss and your employee was looking at the pictures we sent whilst we were on the phone! The curtains don’t need replacing as it’s only the heading material that’s disintegrating. Surely this can be replaced. Curtains should last longer than 10 years! We have family with curtains from your company that are over 30 years old and the heading isn’t disintegrating!

Purchased curtains from Peninsula curtains, they turned out fantastic and were installed on time. The decorator Courtney who came out to the house was very helpful and friendly and ensured I got exactly what I wanted. After a horrible experience with a previous company we had bought from in the past, I felt at ease with Peninsula Curtains creating our beautiful curtains. Also very reasonable prices considering the quality of the products.

Recently renovated our home and had the guys from Peninsula Curtains do the job. My initial call to book in a measure and quote was handled very promptly by the receptionist, which then lead to a professional measure and quote, in the same week. After going ahead with the order, our dual rollers were installed on time and fitted amazingly. Very happy with finished product.

Worst company and products ever, my previous review has been deleted. Don't order expensive made to measure from these people. Six years old whole house and we are throwing away. Disintegrated before our eyes God only knows what my family have been breathing in from the so called lining of the curtains. Can't even touch them without it all falling in your face. Was told nothing they could do for me. A consultant didn't even get back to me just receptionist. Have had people come out to measure for plantation shutters a they looked at the curtains and have said they look 40years old when they are

I needed curtains quickly for bedroom privacy & promised 3 weeks to installation. My material was in stock so no problem. It's now week 5 & 3 phone calls later and still no sign of curtains. Only to be told it was actually 4 weeks waiting time and they put the order in a few days after the sales consultant so technically only 4 weeks. Very disappointed.
