Critical: Professionalism, Quality
I moved years ago with this company and they were terrible. It’s been years and here I am still motivated to write a review on them. Don’t even bother. They won’t keep their word and once they have your stuff they will ask for more to deliver it. That’s what they did to me.

Yesterday John & Edward did a move for us from Petersham to Peakhurst.
They were very efficient, friendly and honest.
They found $50 behind some furniture and gave it to me!
I would definitely recommend them to anyone for a move.
Thiago is also very helpful and efficient.

Where do I start. I listed all items in my two bedroom apartment that required moving plus extra just incase. A small truck arrived with 2 Brazilian men. It took a total of 10 hours costing $1400 to move about 2/3 of what we needed moved. The day after the move I went to move my dresser from where they placed it, only to notice the back all broken and bits of the leg falling off, causing it to be unstable. I sent photos and explained why happened to the case manager immediately. 2 weeks later I’m still calling city move everyday to find out what is happening with my dresser, with the same answers

Two Brazillian guys. Very polite and considerate guys. Very careful with my things. But it cost $918 to move a (very standard) 1 bedroom unit 100 metres down the road. That is astoundingly poor value. About twice what friends of mine have paid for comparable moves. I complained about the cost to management to no effect.

I requested an online quote from a few companies for a move on the 12th of January. I went with another company who completed my move on the 12th. From the 13th of Jan I have received 2-3 calls a day asking me to call back about a quote for my move - the move I have already completed. I thought they might stop calling. But no, daily I either get VM's or breathing. I blocked the number but they seem to still be able to call leave a VM. Yesterday I emailed them to tell them to stop calling me as my move was completed through another company. Since I sent that message I have received three more calls

I was so disappointed to be charged double what I was quoted over the phone. It was estimated that the move would take 2hrs for 13 cubic metres of storage. I was charged for four.
For some reason they double handle everything- loading things into a truck and then loading them into storage modules. Many businesses load your stuff straight into modules on the back of the truck.
Also beware... their storage service doesn’t include insurance.
You’ll also be paying for the parking tickets if the drivers need to park the truck in a ticketed area. That seems totally bizarre to me... surely they

I was moving by myself and another company didn't work out. As a result, I was under great stress and called CityMove on a Sunday morning. They took my call and arranged for Rodrigo and Marcos to come the next day. They were polite and fit and worked solidly all day. They protected my mattress with plastic, fixed the loose back of my wardrobe and were careful with mud in the pouring rain. Everything arrived quickly and safely, which allowed me to chill out. I was a little late arriving to my destination house and they had already started working and lifting before I even opened the door. Highly

My move has been so easy with the awesome job done by Citymove. On top of that, they had to make a detour and drop some of the items at one of my friend's place. They knew exactly what was going there. This meant that I did not have to go with them to sort things out but just wait at my property for my belongings to arrive. I will definitely recommend them to anyone that I know and who is moving. They were on-time, respectful and very helpful.

I definitely recommend City Move. They communicated well and were very professional. They confirmed my move twice and offered a lot of helpful tips. Great price on move, they don't charge for their time going to and from the depot and only charge per minute after the first 90 mins. The movers turned up late, but they actually showed me the road obstructions that had caused it. I'm very happy with their service.

I used Citymove last week to move about 10 minutes down the road. The guys were a bit slow packing everything, but as they were being very careful I didn't mind so much. I was however extremely annoyed when we got to the new place, which has only just been built, and they dragged mud all through the house and all over the brand new carpet. Not once did they ask if they should remove their shoes, or put something down on the carpet for them to walk on (they had plenty of packing materials they could have used), and didn't apologise at the end of even mention it at all. The brand new
