We create contemporary kids products that are functional, safe & refreshing in design, not regularly found in regular stores. We began our journey in 2006, when child number three was on the way. We'd always been anti-plastic, so our family spent lots of time searching for fun and unique wooden toys that would be durable, functional & keep our children inspired.

Order #190702. Wow what an absolute joke this company is. We are just so disappointed. So quick to take our $1000 and $130 for shipping. They deliver half our cubby and don’t bother getting back to us on the ETA of the rest of it until 5 days of numerous emails with still on idea when it is arriving!!!! Then the Piper cubby itself if not worth more… that $300. It is the cheapest nastiest timber and finish we have ever seen. It’s not even sanded and not solid timber. I am demanding a full refund for my HALF a cheap cubby that we have received and if you refuse I will be taking

I have spent thousands on over priced items. After ordering a ride on pony 3.5 months ago, i have been told it will not arrive in time for christmas.
Taking there time to dispatch the item and then offering a $20 voucher. The item should be expressed posted however they would not consider express posting.
I… will no longer be supporting this company and after reading many unhappy customers review clearly they are not customer focused.
Staff are incompetent when asked questions are unable to give answers.
I advise all customers to not support this store

Disappointing customer service and now may not receive my daughters Christmas presents in time for her first Christmas, despite ordering a month earlier.
A free gift was added to my order when I reached the min spend. I was genuinely delighted to receive it. I noticed there was another discount when I got to the checkout (again delighted) but the free gift was still there, so I was happy.
I was then emailed the next day to say that I didn’t qualify and asked what I’d like to do. I was marginally off the min spend after the additional discount was applied. I thought this was very poor form

Ordered the ball pit with 200 balls for my sons 1st birthday. The day after we opened the ball pit, balls were squashed. Not even a week later over 20+ balls had been squashed. They are very VERY flimsy and… should be able to withstand jumping into a ball pit seeing as though this is a ball pits purpose no? I messaged customer service and they insisted that it is not a manufacturing default and that they would offer me 25% off buying more of their balls that squish! 🤣🤯

After several attempts of having Hipkids send a replacement item via courier due to Australia post loosing part of my desk, they wanted me to purchase a new desk and then at my expense pay for delivery again. They then advised they would only provide a full refund less the delivery when I return the whole desk. Obviously this is impossible when I… do not have the desk and Australia post have not located it!
7 days ago they advised that they would log an enquiry as a business and make sure it is a priority. What a load of rubbish! Oh and to make matters worse they use the excuse ‘Covid

Such a terrible online shopping experience! Ordered the Benji Toy Box as well as the House Toy Box a few days ago. Both arrived with damaged boxes and some of the parts inside were faulty. Customer service wasn’t really helpful although they wrote us 2 very long emails. Wasted our money on their products and only a refund would make it up to us.

I got a balance board for my daughter when she was 16 months till now she’s 21 months. She still doesn’t use the board much. I guess it isn’t for everybody or they simply hide negative reviews on their site. I posted 2 reviews in the past that I wanted to get a return but because I don’t have a box they didn’t allow it. My review never got published. It’s made me more unhappy with my purchase because I spent a lot of time reading reviews. They were all 4-5 stars hence I got it. Now I know why I don’t see any lower stars. We also got a shopping trolley because the sales assistant recommended

Hipkids are a wonderful company to deal with. My daughter loved her ride on unicorn, and I have recommended them to everyone that has stopped us to ask where we got it....ALOT of people! The shipping tracking was provided immediately and the unicorn arrived within days of placing the order. Thanks guys!! The party was a hit xx
