Glenn first started working at Cool or Cosy in 1994 as an Insulation Sales Consultant. After proving himself with his genuine and professional approach, Glenn was promoted to Sales Management in 2000. The sales department experienced significant growth in the following years under Glenn's management style of promoting ethical and honest conduct with a customer first approach.
Having been the holders of an Australian Standards Licence for many years, Cool or Cosy cellulose insulation is made to the highest standards. Locally manufactured at our Torrensville facility, Cool or Cosy is proud to be the only manufacturer of roof insulation to the Australian Standards in South Australia.

My contract with Cool or Cosy for solar panels had come to an end. I then get a phone call telling me their accounts department has made an error, and I now need to pay hundreds of dollars for their mistake.
Only mistake I made is been a good customer and purchased more panels, which I'm now trying to get removed because, even if my new contract ends I might be liable for hundreds of dollars due to accounting error.

Rubbish solar. Do not deal with these people who sell you false promises. Paying monthly system that will end up costing nearly $16,000 for a 3.3kwh system with no battery and still get $400 per quarter bills using 12kwh of power per day. Once you sign up they will do nothing, had faulty panel isolators replaced after many demands, and they con you into paying for analytics program so they can monitor your system, but don't do it. Check photo for July 2021 bill for proof .....

We got off to a rocky start. The salesman was unable to answer our questions and promised all sorts of things that were not true. The battery and the installation is all good, and once the managers became aware of the problems we had, they came out and rectified them. We now have a system we are very happy with and have no worries recommending them.

Recently went through the process of getting quotes for Solar and battery for home use. From the Outset Cool or Cosy gained the required ticks as the only company that contacted and then visited the site to discuss our needs. Their quote although not the cheapest was highly detailed and fully explained with superior warranty.
Once the quote was accepted the attention to grant applications was rapid and install was ahead of predicted. The install team was highly professional and not a scrap of, plastic or paper wrapping, electrical wiring offcuts, masonery drillings or other rubbish remained.

Cool or Cosy installed a new Tesla Powerwall 2 battery for us in March 2020 to go with our new 10KW solar system. Initially the battery was not fully discharging but this soon rectified itself (I'm not sure if the software monitors and learns the usage patterns?) but now it works really well and has pretty much eliminated our usage from the grid on most days over the last couple of months. From quote to order to installation and follow-up, communication was really good (quick, helpful responses from Nathan Moody), and although batteries are not cheap, their quote was comparable with others. We have debated for years about solar panels, when we finally decided to go ahead we contacted Cool or Cosy. Josh our consultant was very helpful , from our first meeting until the panels were installed service and attention to detail by the staff was impeccable. An all Australian product was a must for us . We highly recommend this company!

Every person we have dealt with from consultant through to the installers have been friendly, accommodating and professional. Follow up phone call post installation was a nice touch. The installers were fab! Very professional and cleaned up very well when they left. Would definitely deal with this company again

If i could give this company 0 stars I would. Lied to by the initial consultant in regards to what the solar panels do and the install date. Finally got the unit installed nearly 5 months after the quoted time. Then the electrician did not hook up the unit correctly resulting in another 2 weeks of 0 power generation.
Electrician was rude, arrogant and constantly complaining about the job whilst on my property.
Numerous bent roof panels which they siliconed up. I called and complained numerous times about the poor install only to fluffed off.
They are one of the more expensive installers around

Great product but if you're looking for good customer service, our experience is that it won't be forthcoming from this company. Had to follow the company up heaps of time to book an install (should have been a warning sign) and now we are trying to book a service call, and can't even get a return phone call! Seems they are quick to take your money, but don't want to provide the service.
