We carry out retro fitting to older cars still using the old R-12 refrigerant as well as all repairs to car airconditioning systems using our diagnostic system. The principles of evaporation and condensation are utilised in your vehicles air conditioning system by a series of components that are connected by tubing and hoses.
All the radiators we sell meet the most stringent specifications of strength, durability and effectiveness and can be installed in our Scott Street, Bungalow workshop. Due to the design characteristics of today's modern vehicles, we ensure all radiators that we sell are suitable for your car and for our otherwise harsh North Queensland weather conditions.
Our professional team specialise in servicing cars, SUV, 4WDs and diesel vehicles, offering expert mechanical and engine repairs as well as new vehicle logbook servicing. With more than 20 years of local experience, our team have remained fully up to date with the complexities of every make and model of car.
At Ryan's Radiator Services we have a range of different sized intercoolers which have been prefabricated to suit most turbocharged cars. Our work is manufactured locally and one of the only workshops in Cairns who can build an intercooler to your specifications. Had my colorado brought in to have a new aircon compressor installed. Once i picked the car up i noticed a very loud noise at any level of acceleration and went directly back to the shops to show them the noise i was told they had re - oiled my clutch fan without even contacting me and that within 5000km it would quieten down. 6 months and 8000km later my family car still sounds like i transplated a kenworth motor in it the clutch fan has not gotten any quieter and is basically locked after idle. I dont live in cairns hence why i took it back as soon as i noticed and after paying nearly $2000 having

In August 2018 I thought all I needed was a re-gas, but Peter did some extensive checking and found a number of issues that basically needed the replacement of just about the entire system. That was $1700 worth, which I thought was a pretty fair price. I like getting the job done properly.
Now in February I found that the air wasn't as cool as I thought it should be and Melvin asked me to bring the car in for a check. It was found that there was a small pipe that had a tiny split in it, and causing the refrigerant gas to escape.
Pipe was replaced, re-gassed and all within 2 hours at no cost.

We had overheating issues on our way home from Cape York and took the car in to Peter for an assessment. He was very quick and professional with his diagnostic of the car and made an effort to fit us in for maintenance as soon as possible. He also provided a detailed explanation of what was wrong, how he was going to fix it and kept us up to date with the repair which we appreciated. The repair took slightly longer than expected but we were still only charged the original quote and Melvin even hung around to make sure we could collect it the same day. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, professional

I dealt with Peter, who did some thorough and much needed work on my Jeep Wrangler. He was extremely pleasant and great to deal with. I got my car fixed with them, and they are very professional, they even fixed some small scratch on my car. The first mechanic told me I have to buy a new compressor and quote me a big amount. Ryan's found out the real reason and get it done with a very reasonable charge. Definitely recommend them! Thank you guys!

Googled repairs for car air con and this company came up. After reading the reviews and being new to Cairns we set out to find Ryans. We were extremely impressed with the very detailed estimate provided by Peter, not only for the air con but also a full service. Had air con done and a engine service. When we picked up the car Peter had detailed further work that needed to be done to have car in tip top condition. He also provided us with photos showing us what was required.
Peter's customer service is outstanding, very thorough and value for money. I would recommend this company without hesitation
