Shire Build was founded in 2004 by Craig Parker and has been operating in the Sutherland Shire and Greater Sydney Metropolitan Area for over 15 years. Our dedicated team of skilled carpenters and subcontractors incorporate tried & tested building techniques while integrating the latest technology and materials; resulting in a high quality product, built on schedule.
This project was a complete transformation including restoring the existing Federation home to its full charm, then carefully juxtaposing the classic elements with a newly added contemporary lower ground floor complete with polished concrete heated floors, kitchen with butlers pantry, luxurious laundry & powder room and spacious living area along with a beautifully landscaped outdoor living and pool area.

We knew we wanted a walk in robe and a bay window, but really had no idea about how that would look or what to do with our limited space. Craig from Shire build’s vision was incredible, the quote was fair and the communication great.
We are so incredibly happy with the workmanship and dedication from Mitch and blown away by Shire builds honesty when Craig told us the quote was too high and we would be spending less than the quote!!!!

Shire Build was recommended to us for our home renovation which included a second story addition. From our very first meeting with Craig we felt comfortable and knew we would be in safe hands. From start to finish, Craig, Billy and team kept us up-to-date with how things were progressing, as well as what was coming up and decisions we needed to make to ensure things stayed on track (and we thought we were super organised!).

From the initial design and quote stage we were immediately impressed. Our house had a lot of quirks and unusual… design features which Craig helped us change and modernise. His wealth of experience and creative solutions instilled so much trust from the get go. He helped us put our stamp on our home and make it feel more like ours and not just somewhere we lived.

If you need a renovation, Craig and his team are the ones to engage. We required a bathroom that was functional for a wheelchair and right from the start the focus was to make sure that every detail was to my requirement and liking. We will be using Shire Build again and would not hesitate to recommend them.

We engaged Shire Build to undertake some minor changes to our home in 2019. We were impressed with Craig's honesty and integrity, as well as his ideas to meet our objectives in more cost effective, creative ways.

We have used Shire Build for 2 renovations now. Firstly our townhouse bathroom renovation in 2011/2 and secondly for our new house in Grays Point. I wouldnt use anyone else. For our latest renovation we have opened up our living area and installed a kitchen. The work completed is to the highest standard and we were kept informed all the way. … The work was completed on time and our place looks awesome. We have engaged Craig and the team twice now for major renovations in the inner west of Sydney. The most recent one being our home in Petersham bringing many challenges of an old home, separated into 3 apartments, sloping block and an extension requiring excavation.... oh and a pool! The results are outstanding and we love our home. From the… planning phase, to scheduling, onsite meetings, the team are into the detail and provided options where issues are uncovered. Those options come with a professional opinion on the best way forward which is key to those not in the trade!

Craig and his team re built a bathroom in my house. The bathroom he rebuilt was only a year old. It leaked and the person refused to fix it. So I called on Shire build and they were amazing. The team were efficient, tidy, organised and highly professional. The bathroom was completely gutted and re built. I would use Shire build again. Well done guys and this bathroom doesn't leak!
