I have 3 Hansa taps, all under warranty. Each one has required a replacement cartridge and each one has been an issue of poor after sakes service even under warranty. The latest one, tap running litres per day, cartridge ordered, still not arrived 8 days later, tap still running, no assistance from Argent despite repeated daily follow up. After sales service appalling. Don’t waste your money, get a tap with a cartridge you can buy from local hardware which is much cheaper and better service.

We recently finished our bathroom renovation. The majority of fixtures used were from well known brands, however the retailer used two items from Argent to supplement the other fixtures where the main brands didn’t have a product in their range. Both the Argent products used, a ceramic basin waste and a chrome shower joint/fixture have issues. The waste doesn’t have an adequate gap for drainage and we were forced to use a plastic spacer to get it to work as expected. The chrome shower joint has an exceptionally sharp lower edge, the result of which is that it is very easy to damage the plastic

I have purchased all tapware and bathroom items (Grohe brand) required for building two houses from Argent Australia distributors/retailers. They all came with 15 year material and labor warranty supported by Argent Australia. I recently contacted them to replace an item and by next day they arranged for the product to be delivered and the technician to do the job. There are not many companies out there that remain so committed to provide such hassle free, excellent after sale service like Argent Australia and this is very much appreciated. My plumber has been waiting 3 months for a part for our Grohe toilet. A part that could be flown into Australia in a few days!!! Finally I rang Argent and the customer service person was quite arrogant but I was told the part is on its way.... However, I was told by my plumber that you cannot trust was Argent tells you. I would never get Grohe toilets again. I find German companies very difficult to deal with as a whole...

Purchased 2 toilets whose seats have consistently loosened and getting new replacement seats have not been any better! We've tightened the bolts but seats just come loose again! Argent have been unhelpful in helping us solve this problem and even had the audacity to say we are moving around on our seats too much!!! I'd never recommend this brand or company and wish I'd gone with Reece now!
