We used Dean and his team to perform a major renovation and extension to our house. We changed just about every room in the house by moving built in closets in the bedrooms, installing a new kitchen, extending the kitchen and dining room, extending the deck, adding new internal stairs. We first used Dean and his team to replace an old front deck on our house and were very satisified with the result.

McDonald & Son Builders is a family owned and run building company, based on Brisbane's Northside. Our company was founded in 2007 by Allan McDonald, a qualified builder with over 50 years experience in the construction industry. Allan McDonald continues offering his guidance, knowledge and experience from his many years in the building trade.
The origins of McDonald and Son Builders can be traced back to the 1970s when Allan McDonald commenced building the quality constructions for which the company is renowned. The following photos show some of those early projects and how well the buildings have stood the test of time. A block of nine three bedroom units which Allan McDonald built at Marine Parade, Labrador on the Gold Coast, back in 1977.
I'm an Interior Designer and have dealt with many, many builders in my career. Very rarely have I found a man at the helm of a building business, like Dean. He's an extremely experienced builder himself (not just the 'boss' saying the right words to potential clients!), very detail orientated and with high standards.
