I am a tradesman and contractor to Kialla Homes and have been for some time now. When display homes are built a higher standard is displayed to potential customers and then when we are contracted to build these homes we are forced to use low grade materials and in most cases second grade to cut costs . My boss also works for a number of other builders and this is the only one that insists on using poor quality products and materials and in some cases second hand . In my opinion go with another builder. Most home owners that we meet are very dissatisfied with their quality and professionalism. Many

From the moment we walked into the display house to the completion of the build it was a positive experience. The assistance we had in planning this house was outstanding, as was the interaction with Kialla staff throughout the building process. The construction of the house was completed within the expected timeframe, and the quality of the building was exceptional. If you want a quality house built on time I would highly recommend Kialla.

I cannot give any star rating on this business, as I have not used them. However I did alot of research into purchasing our home and one thing I found very helpful was the reviews. I noticed that this Company had many bad reviews. I decided to use an alternative Company to build our home and was very happy with the outcome. I felt this would be good feedback for the Company. We have moved into our new home now and all is good.

Do not use this Company. We built a home with this Company and found it to be extremely difficult dealing with their staff. Never return phone calls, always had excuses, did not want to help in any way at all. Now we are finally in our home and we are having all sorts of warranty issues.
Roof tiles are broken , and leaking, now we have water damage. The finish of the house is nothing like the display home. They have used the cheapest builders range of appliances which are deteriorating already.
We don't feel comfortable living in this home . We are first home buyers and had spent years saving

Positive: Professionalism, Quality
We built our Kialla home over 12 years ago, and we still loved it right up until we just recently sold. We would definitely build with Kialla Homes again. Their quality and attention to detail is outstanding!

Beware of dealing with Kialla Homes. We had problems with choosing tiles, carpet etc because some of their stock in their showroom was discontinued. The colour consultant was hurrying us up as she had her child being looked after and it was a weekend. We were choosing colours, carpet etc. for 5 Townhouses. Consultant had no patience. Eventually we went to Beaumont Tiles direct by ourselves and got the Designer there to help us and also it was better light in a showroom to choose tiles from etc.
After 12 months we got to the stage of nearly signing the contract when we noticed that written on their

Not a great builder for first time builders. communication breakdowns are common. You must be very specific and know any small details you may not notice if you havent built before. home designs are nice tho.

Things were looking Ok, but when we inspected the roof tiles, we found broken tiles, some tiles were not overlapping properly, gaps between tiles, cement is clumped without smoothing. What made it worse the water leak in the eves. We had an appointment with the company manager to address the issue who said they will fix the roof. A week later we were told that the roof is fixed when we inspected the roof we could still see problems.
The other thing we found out is Kialla Homes don't give out the building supervisor phone number due to his "workload", we had to pass on messages to the receptionist
