The owners of Mr Pipes plumbing are Dominic & Carmen Thornton. Dominic & Carmen are the proud parents of four beautiful children. Dominic was born in Queensland and moved to Canberra after finishing High school to study at the ANU. The Uni life wasn't for Dom so after a stint working in the public service, he started his apprenticeship in 2005.
Means that we take ownership of giving you peace of mind. We will assess your problem and offer you best practice solutions. We will answer your questions and queries so that you have a clear understanding of the options that we present to you. We will give you a price for the works before any works are carried out so that you have peace of mind in knowing the cost.
We adhere to all the laws, regulations and ordinances governing the plumbing industry. We practice proper financial and accounting procedures in accordance with all laws governing a privately owned business. We maintain quality vehicles, safe equipment, safety equipment and workwear reflecting our emphasis on the highest of standards.

Dom is very professional, fair, and transparent in providing his services. He has provided our families with a range of plumbing and gas related services and each experience has been really positive. Dom spends a lot of time educating his clients with plumbing and gas information, providing long-term solutions to problems that can potentially escalate. We’ve used Mr Pipes service twice now and both times it’s been an excellent experience. The first time was to inspect and fix a leak in our ensuite shower and the second time was on a public holiday when both our toilets were blocked.
Dom provides honest advice and a professional service. He took the time to explain the issues we had and was timely in solving them on both occasions. Mr Pipes provides good, value for money service and we highly recommend.

I've had Dom from Mr Pipes do half a dozen jobs for me, from the fitout of 3 bathrooms to repairing toilets. He is excellent. Very professional and fixes the problem. We have been regular customers of Mr Pipes for over 5 years and thoroughly recommend them. Dominic is the loveliest, most professional, competent, and responsive plumber at affordable prices. We live in an established area (Weston Creek, ACT) and have issues with mature tree roots and terracotta pipes that need to be unblocked regularly.
