Murphy Plumbing was established in 1965 by Gerard Murphy as Gerard Murphy Drainage Pty Ltd, before changing to our current name. Under 3 generations of family management, we've amassed a loyal customer base that can attest to our quality workmanship and dedication. We employ 40 dedicated administrative and plumbing staff, with the capability to take on both small and large-scale projects.
Murphy Plumbing proudly employs 40 local Hunter Valley residents who work for our business in several different roles. All our staff are provided with professional training where required and have extensive experience in their fields. The young Plumber turned up on time neatly presented, very polite. He unblocked our sewer pipes which I must say was not a very pleasant job. I offered to clean up the mess that the unblocking had caused in our garage. He would not even consider that and cleaned up the entire site, I must add that the blockage was caused by me trying to be a plumber which clearly didn’t work. I would recommend Murphy plumbing to anybody needing prompt reliable and affordable plumbing services

I was referred to Callan and I've been thoroughly impressed by his plumbing services. He was on time and stuck to the Covid protocols to ensure my family and I were safe. The quotes I requested for minor toilet repairs and the installations of my tap and shower were fair, especially with the standard of service I received. Highly recommend to anyone who's looking for a plumber!

Used Murphy plumbing at the start of this year to install a new gas valve and cooktop. Happy with the service at the time, however have just found out after new tenants complained about a gas smell that murphys plumbing did not install the cooktop correctly and there was a fairly major gas leak. Very annoyed. Would not recommend or use again.

We employed Murphy Plumbing to build two easements on a difficult site. Both easements were quite challenging and Callan was great in keeping us informed on each phase and was proactive with sorting problems as they arose. Bruce is the most amazing excavator operator I have ever seen! Thanks boys for all of your hard work! I highly recommend Murphy Plumbing for any plumbing work.
