Wayelec was initially established as an electrical contractor for the machinery automation and general electrical at the new Arnott's Biscuit Factory in Huntingwood.
Our technicians have fully equipped service vehicles* to undertake service and repairs to all makes and models of air conditioners. Generally the technicians can diagnose the problem within the first hour. If it is something simple that can be repaired with the parts in his vehicle, he can carry out the repairs at the time of service.
Our technicians are licenced tradesmen with qualifications to carry out maintenance, repairs and installation of all brands of air conditioners. All technicians are ARC qualified to work with refrigerant and have OHS white cards. We work on all brands of air conditioners and ducted gas heaters as well as having qualified Electricians on our team.
Since 2001 Wayelec has been a major provider of electrical services for the Greater Union/Event Cinemas Organisation across Australia. We carry out the maintenance of emergency lighting, house lighting and maintain all other electrical equipment throughout the cinemas, offices, projection and kitchen areas.
Air conditioners require regular servicing to ensure they are functioning correctly and are a condition of warranty when purchased new. For domestic use we recommend a maintenance service be carried out twice yearly at the changeover from heat to cool and vice versa. Our dental surgery needed a new window unit air conditioner urgently recently due to our old one breaking down. It broke down just before we were to go on holidays, Murphy’s Law, the service we received from Wayelec was exceptional. A call to their office and Allison organised a site assessment the next day for measure up, Tom arrived punctually and all sorted. New unit ordered, time set up for installation and right on time the new Braemar unit was installed expertly by the team( Wayne , Tom and Brad). Really happy with the new air con.

I just want to say a huge thank you to Alison who was incredibly helpful and kind. After calling a few companies, Wayelec was the only one who answered the phone. The others didn't answer phone or emails except one who wanted to charge me a ridiculous amount just to come out and give me a quote.
I called Wayelec and Alison walked me through some steps to check whether there really was a problem. I followed her instructions while she stayed on the phone with me and they worked!

Poor customer service. Called fo arrange a quote for a replacement ducted system as current system unable to be fixed and was told they won't do quotes/install new systems until after the summer season ends as they are only focussing on repairs. It is great that they look after current customers with breakdowns but clearly they have no interest in getting new customers.

Would like to commend the service I just received from Wayelec. I received a quote for repairs from OMEGA which totalled $2,653. Asked for a quote from Wayelec and it was $1780.
The installers were professional, and provided great service. They ALSO ended up saving be an additional $700 because of what was listed as needed to repair from Omega did not actually need replacing.
They could have easily charged me for that work as I know nothing about air cons but they didn't.

I required someboby to repair my heating quickly.Rung multiple companies and found most over a week wait.Contacted Wayelec and explained why i needed my heating to be fixed quickly due to elderly parents and they went out of their way to help.The service call was quoted as a fixed price and an hourly rate.Problem was fixed next morning and problem and repair was explained that i could understand.I will be recommending Wayelec to friends and family.Thanks.
