Jay began his plumbing career in mid 2000. By Mid 2007 Jay was trading full time now as J.Sutton Plumbing & Gas which was operating out of Osborne Park. Our experience was not great. Our job had two phases. The first stage could have been done over a couple of days but Jay stretched it out over a couple of weeks. Not the end of the world so we promptly paid him. When the fit-out stage was ready to go it took two months to get the work done from the time of my first contact with Jay. Over both phases of the job there were literally dozens of instances where we were told by Jay he would be coming, but he just never showed up. Jay did a great job fixing a leak in our loo, as well as giving an honest appraisal of a leak in our old storage hot water system (namely that it might all fall apart during repair and isn't worth it!). Price was very reasonable too so wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

I can highly recommend Jay Sutton for all plumbing and gas needs. Over the years Jay has always offered outstanding service and has been prompt to attend when I have called. We used Jay for our bathroom renovation which was a fairly complex job, completely gutting a 1940’s bathroom, including preparing for the demo, moving the service locations for a slab re-lay and chasing new pipes into the wall before the final fit out. Jay completed the work with no fuss and was professional and knowledgeable. The job turned out perfectly. The price seemed very reasonable. We will use Jay again.

We have used Sutton plumbing for small jobs in the past and then last year for a complete home renovation. We are very happy with all the work that Jay has done for us. He is always on time, his workmanship is second to none and he is very reliable. Jay has installed all our appliances and new plumbing to the kitchen, bathroom, laundry and powder room.

Just as we least expected, our hot water system failed. Jay had a new system up and running by the end of the day. He provided a prompt service and was very informative of the variety of brands and prices of replacement hot water systems available. He even took the old system and garbage away with him.
