My neighbour is building with Sarah Homes and when my builder has gone to lay my slab they have realised that my neighbours house is encroaching over my block. Their slab is in the right position but the cladding over their garage is overhanging and in the way of my garage wall which will butt up against it.
Sarah Homes site supervisor has agreed that they are in the wrong and the cladding is overhanging, but won't do anything about it and told my builder to find another solution.
I have called Sarah Homes and explained what happened a week ago stating that this is impacting my build and timeframes

This company has been a nightmare to deal with. We are still waiting for them to get back to us for maintenance after only a year or so in, things have started to fall apart on the new house purely because of laziness and carelessness during the build.
This is just the the latest in what has been a long list of mistakes, shonky work and to get them to do anything to fix their mistakes you need to threaten to take them to court before they will respond.
Happy to elaborate further to anyone who is thinking of using this builder as anyone considering using Sarah Homes as their builder should hear

I can see that obviously nothing has changed from 5 years ago. Sarah homes has no communication with its customers unless they are selling them a house then once you have signed the contract they basically want nothing to do with you. Will not return phone calls, always making excuses, houses are incomplete sitting for months at a time, building materials that should have been ordered at the beginning when everything had been sorted out are missing and the workmanship is not that great. I know a few people signed up and are building with this company and they are all having problems with this company

Great house design but an absolute painful company to deal with. Communication is terrible. Tradesman ship shows that there’s no building overview. Site supervisor lied to us and we were handed over a non compliant house. They blamed the council but we got a transcript where it showed all of their missteps. Engineering isn’t something you’d expect from a seasoned builder. 7 months since handover and still chasing maintenance. I ignored bad reviews but wish I hadn’t. I follow them up and they just ignore me. We’re not pedantic and happy to accept a few things but with the blanket ignoring
