At first, I was hesitant to deal with this business after I scanned through some of the reviews, but I thought I give it a go since I've been looking to establish a good relationship with a local mechanic.
I called in the 1st time to book was told to come the next day at 2 PM, I came but was turned away as the mechanic wasn't available.
The next day called in to confirm my booking (confirmed at 2 PM) explained to them that I have work at 3 PM and I need to have this looked into the 1st thing.
When I arrived the mechanic was there but the moment they knew I had the coupon all sort of excuses

Very honest mechanics who only recommend doing work when it is actually necessary. And also very fair prices. Went there for the service and Pink slip, everything was done in about 1 hour, they only charged $50 extra for changing the spark plugs and some cleaning that was necessary. Very good care for the car, even lubricated all doors. Will definitely come again.

Came here for pink slip as I bought the deal from Groupon. Called and made a booking but when go there they told me that internet was down and told me to come back another day?? Anyway after waited 10 mins another guy came and did the car inspection for me. I was not impressed with the customer service here.

I had an essential service done here, I went already knowing what needed to be fixed as I didn’t repair it at my last service an they were nothing but honest with me.
They kept me informed throughout the service an educated me on some issue that may need to be fixed in the future but aren’t a issue atm.

Should never try this store. Bought Groupon but they always reject saying no slots available. I booked the pink slip + full service with them, came in the AM and left car there. They called back after 1 hour saying both shafts need to be replaced with cost of $750+ (saying due to aging broken rubber that will lead to some leakage). If that repair is not done, they could not do anything. Since my car was still under warranty from dealer, I decided not to repair with them. While they wanted charge $30 inspection fee?!
I went to the other dealer to check on the shafts, nothing wrong...

I've come here twice now and they have provided me with a professional and helpful service each time.
The first was a pink slip inspection where they took time out of their busy schedule to complete the task for me. It was unexpected but really appreciated.
The second time was another unexpected emergency. I had a crack on my front windscreen. I had called for several quotes and they ranged from $1200-$1500 with the well known windscreen repair services. I took a chance at AKR because of my previous business with them. They ended up quoting me half the price and within a few days. In the end

Honestly, they exceeded my expectations.
I went there for oil change and service. The guys were friendly and helpful.
The best point I liked is they never tried to overcharge me by any way.
I got the quote for the normal oil, when I asked for synthetic one they told me about the extra to pay.
They have done the complete checks and never tried to offer any nonrequired replacements. Even when I asked if the transmission oil needs change, they advised it's not in perfect conditions, but I can do it later.
I am really happy with my experience with AKR and totally recommend
