David has been working with swimming pools since he was 13 years old, when he used to help his parents Peter and Maria who had a pool building business at the time. He is now the proud owner of Ipswich Pool and Spa Centre, which has been operating since 1975 - it was Ipswich's very first pool shop.

Air-borne algae is the main cause of swimming pools going green; it floats in the air and then when there is heavy rain fall, it is washed into the pool.

Had been looking for solid advice surrounding new equipment as a first time pool owner. Jason was extremely helpful in store providing knowledgable advice surrounding eco models of chlorinators and variable pumps I was looking at. Jason came out within a few days to fit new pump and chlorinator and explained how to run it efficiently. Great Price. Good Quality. Will recommend and be using in the future.

Jason is so helpful. You can ask anything about pools and he knows exactly what to do. When we purchased our house it had a pool that they turned into a pond. Jason gave us advice and helped us bring it back to a usable pool our kids can swim in.

Great value for money with chlorine. However didn’t appreciate it when a delivery truck was blocking the whole driveway - and the worker here was making me feel incompetent when he kept waving for me to go around - rather than tell the delivery driver to move.

We have had Wayno come and take care of our pool for a few years now. Having been ripped off using another local pool shop, we are very happy with his knowledge and service. As for price... well thats business I guess. If wayne goes we will too. 😊

These guys maybe friendly but they knowingly sell inferior/poor quality parts, I guess to get repeat business. I am being generous by giving them 1 star. I bought a skimmer plate from this shop where the clip broke with in 3 months leaving me unable to get it out of the skimmer box After trying for just over 1 hour with a screwdriver I resorted to drilling out the clip, though still leaving the plate operable with a new clip. Upon returning to get the clip replaced, with receipt, was informed by staff member (Wayne) the clip will be $20. When I showed him the receipt he said "I cant do that, these
