Stacey and Ray had excellent communication with me through the entire process. They were prompt with organising a quote, happy to accommodate our delays, and were able to squeeze in our job for timber floor sanding/polishing on fairly short notice. The result is great looking floors. Would happily use them again and recommend them to others!

Ray did a brilliant job on our floors, they look absolutely amazing. He has brought new life back into our 100yr old neglected queenslander floors. I received excellent service from Ray and his wife, the level of finish on my floors is exceptional an exceeded my expectations. It is so satisfying to see a job done right the first time.
I was able to leave the house key for Ray to come and go, the job was competed very professionally without leaving any mess or damage behind unlike other tradespeople I’ve dealt with.
I would highly recommend this business to everyone and would only use Ray for all future floor sanding. Thank you so much Ray for repairing the damaged floor left by a previous contractor. It is so hard to find a good tradesperson

Ampersand just did the floors at my house and I wanted to write a review to say how pleased I am.
I got 4 quotes. Ray is the only person that noticed my kitchen was built over a cork floor and that the cork had not been cut prior to putting in the kitchen. This was something very relevant to my job and like I said, the 3 other guys never noticed it. The heads up from Ray gave me time to attend to the kitchen in advance.
On the day Ray was to start, he turned up on time (all other tradesman in this renovation have been late by days or weeks) his van and tools were immaculate and I just instantly

Despite changing my mind several times on the finish I wanted for my floors, Ray was very patient, professional and accommodating. I found Ray to be a very honest man and felt comfortable leaving him alone in my house to polish the bedroom floors. The floors now look amazing. I had been trying to sell my house for over 11 months. It just wasn't selling so the real estate agent suggested doing something with the old carpet. We had quotes and we chose Ampersand. Our floors were finished two weeks ago and sold last weekend. The floors totally changed the look of the house and I believe its the reason the house finally sold. Ray was a really nice guy and did a beautiful job. He gave us a very competitive price, he was on time, worked long hours, and just a really down to earth honest person. Very happy with our floors. We're slowly renovating our home and Ray has done a great job on the first 3 rooms. So pleased with them and great customer service! Will definitely get him back when we're ready to do the rest of the house. Have already passed your card on to a friend who also thinks our floors look fantastic!
