Superior Gates only uses Australian made BlueScope Steel which has been galvanized inside and out. 25mm x 25mm, 40mm x 40mm, 50mm x 25mm or 50mm x 50mm galvanized steel tubing, depending on your requirements. The BFT Kustos linear drive motor is a premium motor for swing gates which are mounted on posts. Electromechanical operator with articulated arm for residential use, for swing gate leaves of up to 2 metres and 200 kg. Ideal for any installation requirements, makes it easy to solve problems linked to large pillars thanks to the lever system.
50x50 posts should only be mounted to a wall, 75x75mm posts can be used up to a 1.2m wide, anything larger than that you should useing 100x100mm post. Galvanised steel posts are best! Yes you can paint these gate frames or they can be powder coated. Generally gate frames can be made within 48hrs. If this job is extremly time sensative, please let us know and we can help you work out the fastest way to get it delivered onsite ASAP.
If you are unsure, don't hesitate to contact us, we are only too please to help! Measure the height you require from the ground and deduct about 50mm for clearance between the ground and the bottom of your gate. For a single gate frame measure between the inside of your posts and deduct 25 mm to allow for hinges and clearance for opening and closing.
