Gates are primarily manufactured from organically treated plantations. Timber known as Design Pine which carries a 25 year guarantee against rot or insect attack. All gates are supplied and primed with a high quality primer. Two coats are applied through construction. Your gate is ready for painting with a quality appropriate paint, or we can do that for you.
All adhesives and sealants that are used are polyurethane and are 100% waterproof and the re-sealing of any cuts or penetrations are appropriately treated.

Im Colin, a 56 year old carpenter and Joiner commencing my apprenticeship in 1973. I have always had a passion for timber and these days try and work with either recycled or plantation timbers. Exceptions are made when their is no option. Construction is primarily by traditional joints in conjunction with modern adhesives, all joints are not only fool proof but more importantly water proof.
When we asked Colin to build our gates we wanted something not only distinctive but also of high quality that will stand the test of time. We showed Colin some pictures of gates we liked on the Internet and advised of some design variations of our own. What we got exceeded our expectations. The gates and the complementary pedestrian gate were absolutely beautiful and finished off magnificently.
