Mawson's Restorations are specialists in Furniture repair and Restoration. Our staff consists of 2 Qualified Tradesmen, Damian (Cabinetmaker) and Wayne (French Polisher). Both Damian and Wayne have an Apprentice each to assist them - Jedd and Keelan. Kara is our Office Manager who schedules the jobs.
High quality service is very important to us, Kara will guide you through our process. Once we have received photos of your furniture via email (or visited your home free of charge if necessary), Kara will send you an itemised Appraisal with a cover letter explaining the service lead time and turn around time.
On acceptance, your request is placed in our job schedule. Once we are ready to commence, Kara will contact you to arrange pick up (or delivery by you, if preferred). As your restoration progresses through the workshop, we email progress reports including photos of completed stages of work. We work closely with our clients, to ensure you are getting the product you want.

Damian, the owner of Mawson's Restorations, has a lengthy reputation in the industry for personalized work. Starting his career over 40 years ago working in solid timber furniture manufacturing, shop fittings, period furniture manufacturing, and marine fitouts, Damian decided to start his own business focusing on antique and modern furniture restorations.

I am so thrilled with a piece of furniture Damian and his team have restored for me. It was an old silky oak piece that was extremely tired and old before Damian has brought it back to life. You wouldn't even think it is the same piece as it looks absolutely amazing and you can now see the beautiful grain of the silky oak. I would definitely recommend using Mawsons Restorations.

I found Mawsons Restorations online and requested a quote, right from the start they were easy to communicate with gave an accurate quote that didn't change once they physically saw the desk and met my expectations with time frames, delivery and end result.
