Solid wood flooring is sensitive to moisture and it is not recommended to install these floorings below ground level, or directly over a concrete slab.

We'd visited a few flooring places, but when we visited Flooring Zone and saw the full range of options we were impressed. Sayed (the owner) is a interesting character, straight to the point and no hard sell but simply knows his stuff. You can tell he's been doing this for years and had the answers to all our questions.
I think the pricing was reasonable and the surface provided was excellent, would def recommend these guys.

I'm really pleased with my new floors. As per the other reviews, Sayed was very easy to deal with but I want to give a huge shout out to our installer Willie and his team. Willie did an excellent job, professional, high quality work. He worked tirelessly to make sure we could live in the house whilst the work was being done. Also a really nice guy.

I used Flooring Zone to do a Floating Laminate Floor in my 2 bedroom apartment in Dee Why. The service and workmanship was outstanding. We needed urgent help after our office flooded from a burst pipe in the worst time ever – between Christmas and New Year when all the flooring shops were shut. Although also on a holiday break, Flooring Zone’s manager responded promptly with a visit to our office, advised us how best to handle our repairs and with a quote to our insurance company. They came out during their holiday break to remove wet floors and organised installation of new floors at a time suitable for us.
