Solid overlay solid strip flooring (10 or 13mm thick) has been designed for those who love the style and warmth of a solid timber floor, but don't have the traditional bearers and joists sub-floor structure. Solid overlay flooring is designed to be glued down directly over concrete, existing timber flooring, or plywood, as long as the existing floor is clean, dry and flat.
Solid parquetry flooring encourages creative flair, with the ability to recreate popular patterns such as herringbone and basket weave. It's possible to use a mix of timber species, or just one species, to design custom patterns for an individual look. Popular for centuries and used in some of the world's grandest buildings, parquetry also provides the perfect solution to heavy traffic areas of the home such as entrance ways, halls and steps.

Such amazing customer service. Anastasia and Sam were so nice, patient and professional. Very prompt at email replies, as well as very courteous on the phone. Called after 5 once and Sam still answered and was patient even though it was after hours. Love the new floors. We used Karndean vinyl floor planks and they look better than the real wood we have in the house.

The customer service from Sam at DIY is exceptional. I asked him so many questions on so many products and he was more than happy to answer and give me quotes. The prices are fabulous compared to the stores that we looked at. They have such a great range as well. We ordered our floor at the start of the week and it arrived by the Thursday the same week. Very happy and would highly recommend DIY if you are looking for outstanding service and flooring at great prices.
