In 1978 Sid and Evelyn Brain established Sid's Door Services to service the growing Garage Door and Entrace Gates industry in Brisbane. They successfully owned and operated the company for 21 years until 1999, when Sid retired and handed the company over to his youngest son Andrew.

Had Andrew come and replace four springs on my tilt doors that use Merlin openers. His service was 5* - not only replaced the springs but checked the hinge bolts and re-calibrated the openers. Couldn't recommend him enough.

Andrew arrived on time and besides being very personable, he is also professional. Gave him two difficult doors to fix and he was able to come up with solutions for both. Very reasonably priced.

High quality workmanship and materials. Prompt and efficient. Andrew was the only one (of a number of quotes with other businesses) to come out and check out installation for a very heavy steel framed, baton clad, custom built door. The suggested heavy duty motor and hinge kit with double springs are brilliant and all at a competitive price. Thanks Andrew!

From the initial phone call, right through to the completion of the job Andrew and his team were really professional.
Andrew designed and manufactured a garage tilt door to suit our renovated workers cottage in Spring Hill. Keeping to traditional looking batons, the door stays in keeping with the house style, but is very functional. We would highly recommend Sid's Door Services.
