New Home Shop has provided a 10 out of 10 service for me from start to end of the building progress and after sales service. There was 100% accuracy for everything they quoted and updates. I decided to go with NHS for my first home. I had heard of their great customer service, communication, during the pre, mid and post construction.

Been putting of writing a review, thinking it will get better..but no.. issues after issues still.
They charge $1k for a contract variation but don’t follow the variation. They charge for the upgrade but put in the normal one, and they put in the wrong floor color! I mean, how incompetent is that?! In their defense, they are willing to correct it, but says “it’s gonna take time, that is the reality of it” We’ve already been waiting for nearly a YEAR for a 179sqm home! That’s how long they take to build!
We’ve hired a private inspector, and of course, found heaps of issues. Paid

If you are willing to wait more than a year for your home, have no update on your build, have no reply on your email/messages, then you have found your builder.
As much as i don’t want to put in a review, people should be warned. Will update this when we hopefully move in to our home. They said before Christmas break, but let’s see if they are true to their word.

I have now had my home for 4 months since handover and completed our 3 month maintenance check post covid and we are very happy to say the least.
Our sales consultant Matt was very friendly and attentive through the whole process, we wanted a customised home and he was able to prepare a package for us that was in our budget and contained all the inclusions we had asked.
Nick our site supervisor was great, we had some issues with some items being obsolete but was handled very well as we were able to reselect and carry on with the build.

Unreliable, unprofessional, time wasters. They are one of the biggest liers i came across. They will leave you behind and wont give you a clear answer about what actually happening. They will change your house design every single month because they want to save money and will use the excuse there is no materials. Avoid building with them and save your time and money. I recommend going with a big builders as they are more reliable and fast.

Worst experience ever. Not reliable. Won't give me a start date. They are not proffisional at all. For 11 months now. There is no start date.

New home shop is a big No, if you do not want headache keep your self away from them. You will be is dispute after dispute after dispute. You will end up with a big bill. You will hear too many lies. I swear to God they do not value time. Once you are locked on the contract they will start changing everything for you. Your house will take 1 year and half or more to get built. This is not a joke.
Look at the number of comments of people who are upset with them. Look how many people like what other people wrote. New home shop management, stop ripping off people. Stop lieing to your clients. I recommend

There is no word that describes how disappointed I am with this small business builder. I can't believe how they lie to people face. The advertised price is higher than the price you will get in your contract. Very low quality homes, there supervisor will try to do everything possible to finish the house even if you are not happy with things. They will keep you waiting for you home and will give you different excuses. Do not believe any of them. This builder should be banned from building houses in Australia. Low quality, low quality. Stop the misleading information. Why do you rip your clients off. The owners of this business needs to compensate thier clients. New home shop need to take responsibilty for every mistake. They excuse this builder who ok use is that there is delays in materials then you will find out that they haven't ordered any material. They will only place the orders for the material at the last minute. New home shop will give you a heart attack. BIG no.
