McHugh Steel was established in 1992 as Outback Sheds then McHugh Constructions and finally as McHugh Steel by Robert McHugh & Sonja Pressler-McHugh. They have been a huge part of the steep evolution as the company is Australian and family owned. The incompetence of this place is beyond! Horrified at the lack of service, accountability! Signed the contract in Dec and here we are in August still dealing with the incompetence! If you dealt with your terrible sales staffs, lack of ability to perform any part of their job. You wouldn't have so many issues. Shame on you!

I got a quote for an out door area. Took 3 weeks & then it wasn't what I wanted. Went to talk to the quoter and he redid the quote in 15 minutes. Then it cost another $2.5 k. I was ready to pay up to $30k for this job but after being stuffed around im looking else where for some one that doesn't want to rip me of.

Very impressed with McHugh Steel and my new shed. Extremely well built, and were cheaper than anyone else in my area, even very close in price for me to do everything myself, it really wasn't worth my while getting everything individually sourced. Everything was sorted from the ground up, they just hand you the keys at the end. Highly recommended!!

Sent an email through on the 28th January 2021 requesting a quote for a carport. No response! I phoned McHugh Steel mid-February, spoke to office staff member and was informed someone would contact me that day. No phone call! Spoke to another office staff member today (12/3/2021) and was transferred to a salesperson. Phone rang out! If you don't want the business just say so!

We have been very impressed with the service, which has definitely exceeded our expectations. Clinton has been so helpful and easy to deal with, and his assistance and feedback in the process of designing our shed was much appreciated.

We have never seen such a business in today's market for prompt and courteous service. We had a full re-roof and strengthening of the roof structure that was organized by Jack Rahaley. The price no one could match.
The materials were delivered one day and the job started the next. The plumbers Lee Pohlner and Cam, were amazing. We have never seen anyone work as hard and to an extraordinary degree of quality.

After quite a process of selecting a shed supplied / builder we settles on McHugh Steel. The professionalism was evident right from the quote process. We approached 7 builders in Bundy for quotes and only got 2, including McHugh steel who supplied us with one within 24 hours. After another go with the same group we did get a third, however by far the McHugh quote was the most detailed and professional. We alter the plans 4 or 5 times and each time we received new plans within 24 hours.
