Booked in to get our unit serviced. Tech comes for less than 10 minutes, says that our unit doesn’t need a service now but to get one before next Summer, proceeds to charge us $180 and then leaves.. I was not home at the time but later emailed enquiring why no service was done when that’s the job that was booked in and why they want us to re-book a few months later when the service could have been performed on the day - no reply received from them

Called Mitsubishi and advised of issue in new unit only 12 months old. They advised would be covered under warranty - contact ELAIR 9375 8791 or AIR MATE 9276 1435.
Called ELAIR- Spoke to the receptionist - Had just had a cancellation and could fit me in that afternoon as they had had a cancellation. Confirmed with her that Mitsubishi had confirmed that this would be a warranty issue. I confirmed with her I had Proof of purchase on site. She said won't be a problem. No mention of a $180

Be very careful using this company - the guy is a bandit and I see from a number of other reviews, that people have had similar experiences. We got charged $180 for a 10 minute inspection of our unit which had only been run less than 20 times. Told us we would have to replace a few items at a cost of around $1,200 or buy a new unit for $2K +. No trust whatsoever and will never use again.
