Services
Automatic Gates operate on an electric motor, with the opening options of remote control or full sensor. The advantages of Automatic Sliding Gates include saving space upon opening (with swinging being the alternative), and the electric motors simpler and more cost-effective. Their long-term reliability is exceptional, with a lower cost of servicing.
Most Automatic Swing Gates need to have a galvanized steel or aluminium frame to withstand the forces put on them by electric motors. Swinging timber gates can be automated if they are well made and operated by what is called an articulated arm, which puts far less stress on the timber frame. These motors however, need more room for operation on both sides of the gates.
At Leisurewood, we specialise in beautifully crafted timber gates using Western Red Cedar wood. For even higher superior quality, we offer a combination of New Guinea Rosewood frames with Western Red Cedar cladding. We also work with quality primed Treated Pine for a more cost-effective option. These gates also provide a cost effective solution to pool, tool, garbage and electrical areas around houses or units.
