We replaced the windows on this Adams 47. Removed the stainless frame and polished to a high gloss. Lenses in dark grey tint 10mm thick, recessed and through bolted. Inside the boat the teak interior was carefully removed and then restored and varnished better than new after the installation of the windows.
I have been asked to comment on the work completed by Justin Waller. As a member of the Beneteau Yacht Association I had at my disposal contacts to find out how to replace the window acrylics that were factory installed on my boat. The only option given was to replace all the windows with complete new windows at cost of $5650.00.
My wife and I recently purchased a Beneteau Oceanis 400 yacht a 1995 model. The vessel is basically sound but required a lot of TLC. The major problem was the serious exterior cracking in the perspec on the lumar hatches (5) - fixed skylight windows (3) and opening port light windows (10). We were informed by the Broker when we puchased the vessel that this type of problem was easily repaired.
Hello all I am currently running a 44ft custom built Assegai sport fishing boat called Megumi. The boat was launched in 2006 and had been in Fiji for four years, before we brought her back home and undertook a refurb at Assegai Marine at Horizon Shores. One little job we overlooked was a leaking deck hatch above the guest cabin.
