Cathy and Bert Tilley began making bamboo blinds in a small workshop at their home in Melbourne in 1986. Production has been continuous ever since. In more than three decades, Bamboo Blinds Australia has never wavered from their policy of making, supplying and fitting the finest quality Bamboo Blinds in Australia, and using and supporting locally made wherever possible.
Softly filtered light and privacy are provided by the Brown Combi range of indoor hand crafted, Australian made Bamboo Blinds. We have showrooms in Brisbane and Melbourne where you can view our range of blinds and window coverings. Our blinds can be motorised and operated by remote control, which is ideal for large blinds or inaccessible installations.
For indoor installation, edge binding is ideal if you want a soft, finished look, for example in bedrooms and living areas. It's a unique finish that available for custom bamboo blinds. I'd like to thank Marcus and the team at ashwood blinds for a great service provided. Really love our blinds; excellent material, color and quality. Not to mention the price is so competitive. I'll be contacting him again for the installation of plantation shutters after our renovation. I would definitely recommend them for your needs of blinds and shutters.
