Cannot recommend Southern Timber Floors enough. Very helpful working out the details, very reasonable quote, absolutely amazing quality install and brilliant engineered spotted gum product. Of all the building works done for our renovation, the organisation for and the install of the engineered flooring stands out in so many respects as the best. Don't use anyone else!

Southern Timber Floors installed these beautiful solid timber floors 2 years ago. Sadly due to a water leak from elsewhere in the house the living area was affected and needed replacing. Ben suggested removing the damaged floor and replacing with like. After which the entire floor through the house was sanded and relsealed. You can't tell the difference, it has come up like the whole house has been replaced. Right through this process he was so helpful and considerate of what I was going through and did everything he could to assist the bulider who I used to repair the damage. Together they worked

We think our Tasmanian Oak floor looks wonderful with its long lengths of real wood. Their installation team were real enthusiasts , proud of their workmanship.

If you are considering having solid timber floors, I would have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Ben and his team at STF for their professional, honest, trustworthy and on-time service. Their attention to detail from grinding the concrete (slab) in preparation to laying new boards, sanding back the existing boards, then final sanding & polishing has left us speechless! Our new Tasmanian Oak floors look truly spectacular!!!

We recently renovated our kitchen, Southern Timber Floors took care of our flooring needs and installed a magnificent timber floor called Tassie drift wood. The tradesmen who perpared, installed and finished off the final coats on the floor were exceptional.
The finished product by far exceeds our greatest expectations, we are over the moon with our new kitchen and we will definitely be using Southern Timber Floors to do the rest of our floors. A great job guys and thanks again.

We are very happy with our recently completed floor. The end result was much better than any veneered type floor offered from other suppliers and at competitive cost for the real thing. All trades used were very easy to deal with and took pride in there work pointing out small faults that we were not aware of and repairing on the spot . Excellent service and would recommend to others.
